Mobility Issues and...

This is where she find herself; packing if to go away...
Life has been a little rough around the edges, with our fight to stay where we are....A ground floor suite where one would think that there wouldn't be an issue and yet one has seemed to find us...
Smoothed over we hope; thanks to Global BC news and the outpouring of community support.

A little girl with mobility and vocalization issues; just wanting to be; a little girl.

Right now we have come to a place where, we had posted this to our door before everything blew out of proportion.

And with that; I have written Emily's physiotherapist as to the direction we should go...

Realistic Expectations???

Some questions never seem to escape my mind.....such has been Emily's long term mobility issues....requiring a (walker/stroller/wheelchair)

Right now, we have been having some serious in house discussion over this issue.....(did you see the article on Global news a week or so back??)  If not, we had been having some complaint from our across the hall neighbour over Emily's mobility noise, that was until I brought it to the attention of the media; this to save our tenancy.

Yes. in the space of two months since these people had become our neighbours this had become an eviction issue for us with two threatening notices in the space of not even six weeks.

At home, Emily either bum scoots or pushes a small stool around the kitchen, but when we are out and about it is either the walker or a stroller.

What is your feel, as I am to the belief that for longer periods out and because Emily tires easily a stroller or wheelchair of some kind would be the better?

In saying, we have gone through a number of strollers in her three and a half years. and though we have tried to go after durability....her current stroller is too falling apart as it can not withstand; either her weight (40+) or the day to day grind....

We are always on the lookout for strollers...It's kind of funny, but every time we are cruising the strollers isles of Wal-Mart or...Emily points and gestures as to which would be the perfect one.

The one we have our eye one now is a jogger stroller, but in saying, Emily has outlasted all, so the money we have spent for quality is; where does the money drain stop??

Your thoughts. ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, because along with the right walker, we feel that Emily will need the right fit in other mobility equipment???

Thanks;
