Two Months of Calm

OK, so it had been two months since the smothering accusations of our not too friendly across the hall neighbours, which threatened us with eviction if a solution could not be found for the volume of noise created by myself vocalizing instructions toward Emily (she's three, so a little loud talking is normal, but with Emily that is increased some ) as well as her moving about the apartment...and hallway corridor

as if their young child of six months was or would be any quieter, but....saving those comments for another day.....

WHAT HAS BEEN SINCE....
We are still here after two formal  pre-eviction letters and one property management conversation; mind you...we didn't take those accusations lying down either as we called in the local media Global BC and reporter Elaine Yong who we saw as the perfect person for publicly addressing our story.
She has a very personal story to tell as well.....as her daughter; Addison was found to have a serious heart condition who was in need of a heart transplant at not even a month old....
So after doing the story which was widely received with mostly positive comments, we were live celebrities of the day.....
Though the hub-bub of celebrity has subsided, we are still on the top of many a mind...."How are things going" is their main inquiry.

"Good" is our response...Even though we only live a stride apart...we've seemed to keep our distance....

Since then, Emily is almost finished her first year of pre-school (with no physical personal aid support)  challenging the teachers some..... the teacher (who was majoring in  physio -therapy as well as child care and who had the most understanding and compassion when it came to Emily's individual needs unfortunately moved with her paramedic finance to northern British Columbia.....Th-ems the luck!!!!

On to bigger and better things; pre-kindergarten at Abbotsford Christian School Tuesday and Thursday afternoons while her older sister, Ellie-Marie will be in kindergarten full days Tuesday and Thursdays....so if there are issues surrounding someone aiding Emily, I will be there!

To get Emily ready even further she has been fitted for a paediatric wheelchair like this one and her occupational therapist has suggested her further aiding Emily
