In Moments of Distress What is Penned

Add caption
If there was ever a place to kick start my journey toward a better understanding of hydrocephalus and the damage it could inflict on the brain of an infant , it was when I penned this just before Emily was to be shunted at 4 months of age; December 4 2010 and before she was to be fitted for a helmet at just shy of 13 months of agehttps://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/p206x206/297630_10150413613759992_3145101_n.jpgHowever, in thinking how far she has actually come...thinking back to the grim prognosis that we were given a few short days before she was born was a sign and a little piece of mind that though she might have been facing an uphill battle, that still rages on today, she was and is a fighter and so too she was going to fight her way through this!
